Product Description

A hand tap set is a set of 3 taps - a taper tap, an intermediate tap and a finsh tap.
These taps provide efficient internal thread cutting.
The short structural type of the taps makes them usable by hand.
The special straight flute holds the chips making it suitable for both through and blind holes.

They are commonly used in construction, free-machining, case hardened & heat-treatable steels. Suitable for non abrasive material up to 900 N/mm2 and unalloyed and low alloyed steel.
